Privacy Policy — Puzzle Den

Effective date: August 5, 2026

Puzzle Den is a puzzle game app developed by Antoine Roy ("I", "me", "the developer"). This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how it's handled. Puzzle Den has no user accounts, no login, and doesn't collect names, email addresses, or any other data you'd type in — everything described below is collected automatically as you use the app.

What the app collects

Puzzle Den uses three third-party services to keep the app working well, understand how it's used, and show ads:

Crash and error reporting (Sentry)

When something goes wrong in the app, the following is sent to Sentry to help diagnose and fix it:

Usage analytics (PostHog)

To understand how the app is used and improve it, the following anonymous events are collected:

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Puzzle Den shows ads (banner, interstitial, and rewarded video) through Google AdMob to support development. To serve and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect:

On iOS, the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before requesting a personalized ad; declining still shows ads, just not personalized to your device. Where required (for example, in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), a consent form is shown before any ad request, letting you choose whether ads can be personalized.

Why this data is collected

Crash and analytics data is collected solely to fix bugs and understand which parts of the app are working well or confusing. Advertising data is collected to serve and measure the ads that support the app's development; it is not otherwise sold.

Third-party service providers

Data described above is processed by:

Each provider's own privacy policy governs how they handle data on my behalf.

Data retention

Data is retained according to each provider's default retention settings (typically on the order of weeks to a few months), after which it is deleted from their systems.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export data associated with your device, or to object to its processing. Since the app doesn't have accounts, most requests can be handled by providing your device's analytics identifier (visible on request) or the approximate date/time of use. To exercise these rights, contact me using the details below.

Children's privacy

Puzzle Den is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the app changes (for example, if an account system is added in the future). Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
